Caroline is easy to find if you have GPS and search for "Le Pourquoi Pas" restaurant. Otherwise contact us and we can give you directions.
Our neighbours include several wine producers within less than 20 min walk who will gladly let you taste their wines. We also have a popular bar restaurant within 100m of our boat. Capestang is a lively village about 5km by road and Quarante, a smaller but still lively village is only 4km away.
Caroline is moored on the Canal du Midi and provides easy access to Capestang 7,5km or La Croissade 4km along the towpath on foot or by bike. Access to Caroline is fairly easy by car as well. We have free parking next to the barge which is within 30 minutes of Beziers or Narbonne. Narbonne and Beziers both have railway stations and Beziers airport offers flights to many airports in France and the UK.
